Mary Beth graduated from Gilmer High School and attended North Georgia College and State University, graduating with honors with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. During college, she worked for Georgia Highlands in Ellijay, Georgia, where she provided therapeutic services to children and adolescents in Ellijay. After graduation, she worked for Pickens County Department of Family and Children Services in Pickens County for more than two years, as a child abuse and neglect investigator and case manager. Her job as a case manager required her to attend court often, and she decided to attend law school at Georgia State University College of Law. In law school, she actively participated in moot court both as a member of the board, an oral argument participant and team coach. She placed first out of 181 students in the Georgia State University College of Law oral argument competition. After graduating with honors, Mary Beth worked as an insurance defense attorney in Atlanta for four years, defending clients such as State Farm, Allstate, Progressive, and Wellstar Kennestone and Cobb Hospitals. Mary Beth successfully defended her clients in jury trials, participated in many mediations, and negotiated hundreds of cases to settlement.

In 2010, Mary Beth joined Clark and Clark to build a practice representing injured people to use her knowledge of insurance companies to maximize results from clients. Since joining Clark and Clark, Mary Beth has also developed a specialty in property litigation as well as domestic litigation. She has successfully litigated many cases to close, including trials, hearings, motions practices, appeals, and settlements.

Mary Beth enjoys being active in her local community, serving on the Lady Cat Basketball Scholarship Award Committee since 2010, and on the Appalachian Circuit scholarship Committee in 2011. She actively supports and contributes to the local animal shelter and the local animal rescues. She and her husband Jeremy reside in Ellijay.
